Shaw Mountain road is closed in late fall through early spring to all motorized travel for deer to relax and to conserve energy (not kidding, that is really why).

Description

You can come up the Lower Wild Horse Ridge (Roadies) trail to access this trail or use Shaw Mountain Road to access it from the top.

Ridden in either direction this trail has views, views, views, and more views.

Enjoy the remnants of a forest access road mixed in with erosion control bars that contour the mountain.
