Description

This trail is short but fun and fast. You ride under the Heavenly Gondola in sections and climb a dramatic vista point at a rock outcropping. There is one short, technical section but the trail is otherwise easy and fast.

In the summer, the trail can be very sandy. This trail has a long riding season (typically April through late November, depending on the snow year).

You can do this as a short loop by riding up the Van Sickle Trail or the fire roads to the east or west. This is a great way to end or start the Van Sickle Trail (there are fewer hikers than on Van Sickle Trail).
