Description

Twisted Sister is the newest addition to the Fisher Farm trail system, opened in March of 2016. The trail starts off of the Allison Farm Access Road, which can be reached by taking a left off Fisher Road from the top of Rock Rumble.

Twisted Sister is a fairly difficult offering with plenty of tight hairpin switchbacks, log-overs, punchy climbs, and rock features to challenge you. Dubbed BYT 2.0, Twisted Sister rivals the difficulty of Backyard Trail and gives a similar feel.

If you are looking for fast and flowing, this trail is not it, but if you want a good challenge, look no further. Kudos to the trail coordinator, Mark Sullivan, for adding a more advanced technical trail to Fisher Farm, this is exactly what the Charlotte area needs more of.
