As the name implies, this is the typical entry to New Light with vigorous riding and a little spice.

Only open Sundays from September 1 through May 15. This is primarily a hunting reserve. Please respect the closure.

Description

This trail starts to the right of the gate blocking the fire road at the end of the parking lot. The trail is a little bumpy with roots and powerful at times with a couple of good drops.

The trail ends at a fire road. Go left and stay left on the mud/gravel fire road if you want to head back. Go left on the fire road and cut right after 50' to catch Lake Downfall.
