Description

16N74 is a Forest Service road that is a common connector between Burton Creek State Park, the TRT, The Grinder, Fiberboard Freeway, or even to drop into Northstar's trail system. Riding the opposite direction is a quick trip back to Tahoe City.

It's your basic fire road connector, but a commonly used one in bigger loops. It has a pretty mellow grade except for a couple steeper pitches.

The road crosses the Tahoe Rim Trail - Brockway Summit to Tahoe City and The Grinder. There are also numerous Forest Service spur roads and and social trails that drop into the neighborhoods.
