This singletrack trail is fast and flowing with very little elevation change. Unlike the tight, twisty, slalom-course style of Carbo
, this trail has long, fast straight-aways between the sweeping 180° corners.
The surface is mostly hard pack and reasonably grippy pine needles thus the high speeds, but the corners can have loose sand so be careful lest you get a case of the front tire wash out.
Race Trail is ridden usually after riding Carbo
extension heads north and merges with Speed Demon
. At the northeast corner of Speed Demon
there is a "Y" intersection and and a small sign indicating the start of Race Trail.
