Description

Sand Lick Fork is the backbone of ORV traffic in this area of Powell County. Generally following the creek, this gravel grinder will abuse your drivetrain even in the driest of conditions.

With multiple creek crossings and sandy soils you just can't avoid the wear and tear, but all that money you'll spend on replacing gears aside, this is a fun ride with a gnarlicious climb or descent at the south end.

This begins on the edge of the National Forest and continues through the undeveloped Hollerwood Off-road Park.

This trail, and the others nearby, are on an ATV park which requires a $40 permit to ride. Much dissapoint.
