Thunder Road is a nice trail with many off shoots. It can get a little confusing because it isn't really that well marked, but the trail stands out really well. It is well used, which makes the trail fairly obvious. You can use the MTB Project mobile app to make sure you don't get lost.

There are lots of ups and downs along the way, and switch backs are in abundance. It has some pretty rocky downhills and lots of roots as well. Due to multitude of obstacles, this trail requires a bit of intermediate skill, but it's a good place for beginners to practice and improve.
