Dry - Fantastic dry day. Some pools of mud by the under highway crossing but easily avoidable so not marking issues. History

Family Friendly Easy riding over small roots. Near a public park.

Please don't ride this trail on days after a rain as it does not drain well.

Easy to get a few miles in or ride for a full day, this ride connects to the Memphis Greenline and the Germantown Greenway for a grand tour of Memphis!

Need to Know

Some ditches hold water, but they have "ride arounds."

You can start this ride at the Germantown Trailhead parking lot off of Germantown Rd or ride in from the Greenline. There are several bypasses along the trail to avoid standing water issues.

This is a fun trail, shared by many runners, families, walkers, etc. Please be ready to say "on your left" a few times. The most central access is available from the parking lot off of Humphreys Blvd. There are bike repair stations available on the Greenline.

Overall, a fun time with a few rooty sections and some small drops. This ride is easy enough for almost anyone, but still fun!

Been there like 3 or 4 times and I basically have it memorized now. Still don’t feel comfortable to ride alone.

Many sections go through the Lucius Birch Natural Area, LBNA. There are other sections and side trails not shown here yet. you can get 15-16 miles without leaving the trails. With the easy connections to the rest of Shelby Farms Park via one of the paved green lines you can add in the more challenging Tour de Wolf MTB trail and increase the mileage to 25+. Jan 26, 2016

This trail has been destroyed by flood. Please stay off for your safety for the time being! Mar 28, 2016
