“A short segment that connects Dawa Trail and Mescal Trail and runs mostly inside a creek bed.”
— Doron Weinstein
This trail starts at a point where most cyclists stop and admire the view from Mescal
Trail. It's indeed very impressive!
About 50% to 60% of the trail runs inside a creek bed, so be prepared to get wet and muddy if you're riding it in the winter/spring. But the fact you're riding inside the creek is not all bad - there are places where you can ride the walls of the wash and there are a few jumps here and there for the more advanced riders.
The creek bed can be rocky at times so you'll find the technical rider in you getting challenged a few times. Especially if you decide to ride this trail really fast! But the parts that run outside of the creek bed are made of soft dirt, just like the most of the trails in this area.
Overall, its a fun little ride to finish a longer, better ride around the area. I would not make a special trip just to ride it.
