“Up a hill, out and back across a ridge, and down the other side. Good stuff!”
— Chris Swarr
This trail starts just past the gate at the end of the parking lot for the gun range and lake house when ridden counter-clockwise; taken clockwise, it begins above a drainage off the lake trail road near the last gate for fishing access and primitive campers.
It's a nice climb in either direction and a fast downhill on both ends. Part of the Indian trails network on the west end of Mountwood Park, Tecumseh is the gateway to fun southwest of Mountwood Lake.
