“Trail follows the access road crossing over Sunrise Mtn. to the summit of Frenchman Mtn.”
— James Walt
This trail follows a broad access road that will cross over Sunrise Mountain before carrying on to the summit of Frenchman Mountain. Though the trail used to be an access road, it is rocky and unmaintained. Due to the condition of the trail, you'll probably want to ride this one only if you have developed intermediate skills.
Once you've gained the peak of Frenchman, continue on to the southern point of the mountain where there is a GPS Marker and cache. Add your name to the GeoCache, and turn around, returning the same way that you came up!
Be sure to bring plenty of water with you as there isn't any to be had on the trail, and take note of the weather. Due to the lack of shade, this would be unpleasant in the summer heat. Don't leave behind any trash, pack out what you packed in!
Be conscious too, of the private property located at the top.
