The best rocky singletrack descent in the area.

G. Smith

Description

This is the Tuscarora Trail - Bear Wallow (Blue "hike-a-bike" + 31 flavors descent). It is typically ridden Eastbound starting at F66 and ending at the Signal Knob trailhead parking lot.

It starts with a mellow climb, that eventually gets steep and loose. Most riders end up having to push the bike up the steeper sections.

Once over the top, the descent starts with some burly rock moves. After the first switchback, it starts getting a little smoother and faster, but it is still quite rocky.

The trail is blue blazed almost the entire way, switching to orange about half a mile before the bottom. You'll stay left at every intersection to remain on the main trail.
