“This final loop in the Hard Labor Creek system is finally OPEN, adding 5 miles of singletrack!”
— Bill Pflueger
Having three easily accessible sections, families can choose which ones to ride or avoid.
This trail's direction of travel depends on the day of the week. Please follow the information on the signs.
The Green Loop falls in-between the Red Loop
and Blue Loop
for technical difficulty. There are three distinct loops within this trail, allowing riders to do all or only part of the trail. There are two bailout trails accessing the common forest service road leading to other trails or the parking lot. Section 1, an easy 2 miles beginning at waypoint 400, has a short descent to a creekside wetland that works it's way back through open hardwoods. Section 2, an easy 1.5-miles, loops back through the open hardwoods then through a section of regrowth. Section 3, another 1.5-miles, is the most technical and difficult section with short but steep climbs, narrow, twisty trails and off-camber hillsides leading to a creek crossing and more flat wetlands.
