From Calvola, climb the asphalt road to a group of holiday houses on the shoulder of Monte Calino. Start here, where the asphalt ends (elev. 860m).

Take the smooth and gently sloped forest road to the right (northeast). This road will follow the hillside through the meadows and the forest. There are some rolling hills in the forest.

When you reach the next meadow, with some small houses called Treni, you'll see the hiking path #401 joins the forest road from the left. Stay right (east) at this road. You'll head back into the forest, and after two turns, there is a viewpoint to the right with a cross. This viewpoint, called Croce di Bondiga (elev. 870m), is a few meters away from the forest road.

The doubletrack is easy and rideable in both directions.
