Description

Only a short section of this trail is typically ridden on a Lake Chabot loop but the trail extends several miles North of the junction with the Jackson Grade Trail.

The trail winds along the contours of the hills parallel to Skyline Blvd. and is mostly shaded in oak woodlands. Near the junction with the Jackson Grade the trail splits and the section closer to Skyline Blvd. is now called the Jalquin Trail.

Goldenrod can be included in a "super" loop of Lake Chabot by connecting with the MacDonald Trail and using a short section of city streets. An equestrian center and city stables are located on the trail so expect horseback riders.
