“The Lick Run Trail covers the southern edge of Great Seal State Park.”
— Tom Robson
The Lick Run Trail (purple) can be accessed via the Shawnee Ridge Trail
, the Mt Ives Trail
, or via a parking lot on Lick Run Road. This nearly two-mile trail runs below the Shawnee Ridge Trail
, offering a different vantage point of the forest.
Once you reach the end of the trail, you can join the Mt Ives Trail
or the Shawnee Ridge Trail
, to head back to your car. Or you can add on any one of the other trails within the park to increase your mileage for the day.
