The Lick Run Trail (purple) can be accessed via the Shawnee Ridge Trail, the Mt Ives Trail, or via a parking lot on Lick Run Road. This nearly two-mile trail runs below the Shawnee Ridge Trail, offering a different vantage point of the forest.
Once you reach the end of the trail, you can join the Mt Ives Trail or the Shawnee Ridge Trail, to head back to your car. Or you can add on any one of the other trails within the park to increase your mileage for the day.
Moderately steep. Uneven terrain with small rocks or roots.
Sizable rocks & roots. Steep sections.
Steep. Some technical terrain and limited alternate lines.
Very steep. Technical terrain with no alternate lines.
