The doubletrack begins at the end of the paved road and is a good uphill route that leads to Malga Trat (1.502m) and Bocca di Trat (1.581m).

It's well-maintained because it is used to supply the Nino Pernici refuge (1.600m) near Bocca di Trat. Though cars do frequent the road, you won't have to worry about riding in traffic as there are only a few cars that would be bringing supplies.

It is rideable in both directions; and makes for a good, fast downhill.
