The most difficult Rock Garden at Moraine State Park

Description

This is the first trail you'll encounter when riding out from the Mt Union parking area. This meandering singletrack features many log overs and is pretty much all technical rock the entire time, although it is at a fairly steady elevation. Average speed through this section is generally lower than usual, so plan on pumping those arms and legs to harmoniously clear and navigate this aggressive terrain!

Section 1 has access points at the power line on either end. This is bi-directional and can be added or subtracted from your ride easily due to its connections to the power line. Keep this in mind when returning from a ride where this section would be considered your last. Difficulty is high, so be cautious if you choose to ride it at the end of your ride. Popping out at the power line is an easy alternative to return to the parking area.
