Description

This trail can be ridden as an out-and-back from the Christina Lake Trail trailhead, or can be made into a loop by taking Christina Lake Road FR 355 to Louis Lake Trail from Gustav Lake.

The trail starts out steep and technical with lots of large rocks but mellows out into some very nice smooth singletrack. Expect sections of hike-a-bike on the initial climb. The trail is completely in the trees and is very cool in the summer, a nice escape from the summer heat. Because of the high elevation expect snow and mud in the spring and fall.

I turned back after 2 miles - expect more hiking than biking. Jul 25, 2016
