Description

The South Fork of Little Deer Creek Trail #242 is an enjoyable trail that travels from the Summit TH to the Ridge Trail #157. This trail links several loop routes that can be used to visit different areas around Pleasant Grove Ranger District. The trail moves through aspens, firs, and open meadows, with views of Mount Timpanogos along the way. A reroute in the vicinity of the Cascade Spring road was recently performed to aid the sustainability of the trail, and users should follow the new route as the old route is now closed.

Ride it from north to south: the descent is amazing! Then once you cross the road the climb back up to the summit trailhead isn't that bad.
