Description

Easy, well maintained, neighborhood dirt trail that doesn't offer much in the way of technical or hard tracks but makes up for in spectacular views of Aliso Canyon and the ocean. The beginning of the trail has a bit of a climb but nothing hard.

You can park at Aliso and Wood Canyons and then bike up Highlands (not a cake walk) via Alicia Pkwy or try to find street parking near the trailhead (there doesn't appear to be a lot of parking near the trailhead). Lots of locals hiking and walking on this trail.

A bit of a climb to start but smooth sailing after that. A lot of hikers. Great scenery with a view of the beach.
