Description

The name "Bent Rim Trail" is not an ironic, hipster name. There is a very good chance that you'll bend a rim or body part riding this trail. This trail is sure to challenge 99% of riders and put all your biking (and hike-a-bike) skills to the test. Bent Rim is a relentless barrage of rock, making the 2 miles seem to go on forever. With several (and I mean several) extremely technical rock climbs and descents, this trail will challenge and excite the tech-lovers.

The Bent Rim Trail can be divided into two sections and can be ridden (attempted) in either direction. Start the trail from the Red Oak Trail, on the north side of the Reservoir or from the Beaver Dam Trail (trailhead is across from the fire pit). The trail crosses over the Beaver Dam Trail and depending on the punishment and your will, you can bailout here or continue on.
