Description

From the trailhead (no services or amenities) the Trace begins a slow climb alongside a small stream to gain the low ridge. Once the crest is gained, a long rolling section begins.

In this first segment of the much longer trail, a couple of valley crossings must be navigated giving you a taste of the many miles you'll be riding on your way to the southern terminus.

Way more challenging then expected. Lots of down trees to navigate. Also lose gravel and aged washed out areas have likely increased difficulty.

Lots of trees down, corners have some hanging vines. The initial climb is a bear but not technical. Overall great short ride for me today. Fun!! 6mi — 1h 00m
