Description

Rib Cage starts from Enduro Trail and rolls across the sage briefly before a short but steady climb around the shoulder of a hill. After crossing a doubletrack, the grade lessens and then rolls across a flat plateau overlooking the Kirtley Creek and Salmon River valleys. The Beaverhead Mountains provide a spectacular backdrop to the north.

The route turns sharply left at the far end of the sage meadow and begins a descent toward Slump Ridge trail. Near the bottom, you'll roll past the corner of a fence line and through a small livestock grazing area before the last bit of the trail.
