This is a nice loop featuring two distinct dirt sections linked by road riding in between.

The trail begins in the village Zali where you'll take gravel road NW to Lake Klivnik. In the shade of the trees, ride along the path over the lake. Upon completion of 3.5 km, take a left turn and begin the ascent to Podbee. At the top, you'll reach the field and continue in the direction of Podbee. The highpoint of the route is in the village, where the trail continues right on the asphalt road. Below the village, at 6.6 km, turn right onto a gravel road towards Hruica.

The trail ends at 9,3 km on the main road Podgrad - Kozina, where you'll turn right towards Hruica. In the village, turn left towards the industrial zone Plama. When you reach the Plama factory at 10.9 km, continue along the dirt road in a slight ascent to the forest path. At 15.7 km, pass abandoned barracks and arrive on karst meadows of the Matarska valley and beyond in Raice. The Erna Inn is a great place to take a break.

The trail continues through the main road through the village Raice in the direction of Sabonje. At the end of the village, the route turns into a dirt road and soon arrives at Srbarija pond where you can, in the woods on the left side, find the remains of the church of St. Stephen. These are the only remnants of the village, which was abandoned in the Middle Ages.

Continue straight on along the forest road to the foot of village Sabonje. When you arrive in the village at the cemetery (at 20.3 km) turn left on the village street, which continues into a dirt road. The road continues to a beautiful descent to the lake Mola. At the lake, turn left and over the creek Klivnik reach the main road Ilirska Bistrica - Podgrad where you turn left and after 400 m and arrive at the starting point.
