A great circuit accessible from north side of park or just north of the Swift Creek bridge/boat ramp

Description

Please use caution as trail intersects popular walking trails and Forest Roads, but don't miss this gem. The jumps really uncork the gravity just below the Forest Exploration crossing which is a convenient spot to rest and hydrate if need be since there is a bench right there (actually on Forest Exploration Trail). This is how lift and tilt is done! Watch for turtles on the trail...they seem to love it. A skinny is in the plans.

Hit most of the singletrack in the park. A little wet and lots of leaves made for slick conditions at times. Great ride. 33mi

Getting forecast...

Can you walk this trail or is it bike only? Oct 22, 2017
This is one of several bike-only designated trails at the park. There are MANY miles of multi-use trail at Pocahontas (fire road and double track) as well as some nice narrow pedestrian-only trails to enjoy on foot. Oct 23, 2017
