Technical and steep climb and descent on broken rock and loose gravel

Adopt These Trails!

Overview

Description

We call this short trail section Sternal Crack because it's where I broke 3 ribs at my sternum. This is a challenging and technical climb followed by a technical descent back to the main trail. There isn't a lot of technical stuff in the Dona Ana Trail, so if you're looking for something fun, Sternal Crack has what you need.
