A good beginner/intermediate trail with one creek crossing.

Overview

The trail is multi-use and open to two-way traffic. Keep an eye out for other users, especially in the trees where sight-lines are limited.

Description [Suggest Changes]

I recommend this trail if you are bringing a beginner along. It is challenging without being overwhelming. It is 100% singletrack with only 1 technical section. It is a system of loop options and the forks are well marked. You can loop back at several points to shorten the ride or create a ride of .5/4/6/9.5 or 13+ miles.

In the height of spring/summer, ticks can be an issue. Also, the trail gets narrow under the trees, so Poison Ivy has been a problem in wet years.

A fun trail. The creek crossing is gone. A new loop the east end that promises to be a lot of fun once the trail has settled in a bit. 18mi

The trail south of the Spring Creek crossing is no longer there. You will have to turn around at that point and return. The trail is an out and back, so be careful that you don't meet another cyclist on the turns in the woods! Dec 22, 2016
