Description

This trail has some technically difficult sections. Most of this trail is moderate to easy, but there are several short rocky sections, deep sand, arduous climbs, exposed high cliffs and ledges, and sharp drops. You can seriously injure yourself! Most technical sections are short. Dismount and walk through any section thats beyond your skill level.

Always yield to vehicular traffic at road crossings and any critters on the trail.
Some highlights for miles 0-22.5 (no cutoffs): There are 3-4 techy sections in the first 4 miles. Dakota Sandstone outcrops are frequent and fun challenges Lil Moab, the Causeway, the Rock Garden, Stegosaurus Drop, Cedar Surprise and others yet to be named.

Tower Hill is a spectacular view of the lake and Saline Valley wildlands beyond the park.

There are plenty of technical sections throughout Switchgrass.

The racers are waiting for the slowpokes in the rock garden (I'm one of those slowpokes).

Exiting a small rock garden, there's some pretty good drops about 100' back, but I missed pics of them.
