“Follows Buckeye Creek across Dinosaur Valley State Park.
”
Family Friendly
Great for family hiking. Also cycling with the exception of a couple of tough spots climbing.
Call after rains, as heavy storms will often close trails.
Description
This trail is a winding mix of singletrack and doubletrack that mostly follows Buckeye Creek.
With few obstacles, and not a lot of elevation gain, this is a great intermediate trail. There will be about .5 miles of climbing back up to the high point connecting with the Cedar Ridge Trail, but that's about the toughest portion of this relaxed trail.
Moderately steep. Uneven terrain with small rocks or roots.
Sizable rocks & roots. Steep sections.
Steep. Some technical terrain and limited alternate lines.
