A one mile mainly flow trail with few obstacles.

Craig Pool

Overview

Park closes at dusk. Don't ride mud!

Description

This trail starts and ends at the 4-way intersection of this trail (2 directions), Morning Choice and Waterbars. As drawn, the route has you climbing a short distance. Once at the top, however, you'll be rewarded by about a 1/2 mile of flow downhill. There is a short section of rocks, but overall this is fast, wide flow trail. Just stay straight on the main trail and you'll end up right back where you started.

The trail is blazed on the trees with a purple marking.

There are some offshoots of this trail. Down the middle of it is the Rockburn Loop Center Trail which people utilize to figure 8 this loop or to not hit parts of the trail twice, as I did in the Tour of Lower Patapsco (Avalon and Hilltop) from Rockburn.

When riding in the mapped direction there are two trails you'll see to the right. These link to the Rockburn Trail which runs back to Landing Road.
