Description

The White Gate Trail starts from its intersection with Estero Trail near the Lower Estero Dam. The wide, sandy trail passes through lush, marshy grasses, thickets of brush and scattered wildflowers. Check out the greens, browns and reds of aquatic plants and algae in the shallows of the estuary. The White Gate Trail ends at its junction with Muddy Hollow Road. (Please do not trespass further north on the Home Ranch roads.)
