Description

Little Canaan probably gets its name for its impressive rock garden. The trail also features several drops, some off camber narrow trail on soft soil and a stream crossing.

It's best run in the direction from the airstrip back towards the entrance. A great downhill run starts at the airstrip on the Race Loop trail and then taking the left onto Little Canaan at the junction.

The climb back out is mostly manageable and leaves you at the little Country store. Passing the store gets you access to Roadside Trail back to the parking area.
