County road across private land. Please, stay on public right of way.

Description

This road winds past a couple of small ranch houses and deteriorates the closer it gets to the top. There are some tough sections and the climbing is very sustained. If you're looking for aesthetics, go across the valley and do the Pierce Canyon Climb. It is about 1,100 feet of climbing in just over 1 mile, but is well worth the effort.

Quite a few bulls with the cows. There was even a gate open on the way up on this day.
