The Overlook Trail is one of the longest sections of singletrack in Highland Park. It's easy to connect to from the Bigelow Trail Extension to create a nice ride. It also connects to the Zoo Trail, making it easy to connect to One Wild Place to climb back to the top of the park on the road.

The trail loops back on the lower section. You can also connect back to the main trail and climb back up or take the Overlook Trail to Mayor's Trail Connector to access the Mayor's Trail and The Oval cycling track along Washington Blvd.

There is a nice overlook point where you can see the Allegheny River valley around the first bend in the trail if you're coming from the lake/pool area.
