Description

Iron King Trail can be accessed in multiple ways, the easiest being, parking in the small dirt lot on the west side of Glassford Hill Rd. off of Sante Fe Loop and parking is free. Access is also available from the Peavine Trail.

This trail is doubletrack and an easy ride. There is a gentle climb for the first 2.25 miles then a flat ride into the rocks. The trail ends at the Peavine Trail after a fun downhill section. A picnic table and a port-a-let await you at the intersection.

From the intersection you can take the Peavine Trail north towards the Side Rd. parking area our south to the main trail parking.

Easy and fast like usual. I connected it to Peavine, then to Sundog Ranch, then back again. It was a killer workout - about 22 miles total. 4.2mi — 0h 20m

A fast, smooth, flat long distance workout. Nothing technical, but great for speed and stamina building. It's 7 miles: g-hill to the humane society. 14mi

I love this trail for it's sheer speed and length. You can connect it to the Waston/Willow lake trails near the humane society if desired. 14mi — 1h 00m

Mostly Dry - It's pretty dry. My word of advice is just watch out for snakes and other creatures. Oh, and don't go for a ride after a rain, you'd think that would be pretty obvious - but I figured I add it just in case. :)
