Description

Nemesis is a short singletrack trail on Moscow Mountain constructed by MAMBA. From the Four Corners parking area, take a right at the Rock Creek Rd. intersection. Shortly after the intersection on your right, there are some large rocks which is the lower entrance to Nemesis. You can ride up Nemesis from here, or continue along the road to the upper entrance. After climbing up the road, just under a mile, the road will level off. To your right is an old logging road with two large "kelly humps." Directly after the humps is the upper entrance to Nemesis.

From the top, the trail begins in a thick cedar grove with a few switchbacks. Some of the upper corners are fairly tight turns. As you get lower, the switchbacks become fewer and it begins to open a bit here and there, with a nice "peek-a-boo" view of Moscow about 2/3 of the way down. There are a few roots here and there but overall it is a fast, buff ride down. Like most trails on Moscow Mountain, the corners are largely flat (ie: No berms).

If you follow the old logging road at the top, it will take you to the "climbing rocks" area, which offers great views of Moscow and the surrounding Palouse.
