A small dirt bike style park in Cottage Grove, excellently maintained and tested by local volunteers

Graham Kolb

E-Bikes Unknown

Features -none-

Is composed of nearly ALL dirt, so after heavy rain will nearly always be closed. Dogs can be nearby, but should probably be kept out of the bike park itself.

Description

A dirt bike style park for anyone from little kids to hardcore mountain bikers. Great pump track and fantastic jumps. Head down paved path for about a quater of a mile from the parking lot (you can see it from the parking lot, and if you are by the water tower, you are in the right spot). The trail entrance is on your right. As you enter, there is a practice pumptrack directly ahead, and to your right the main trails and jumps. It is a very small park, and the scenery isn't great, but it is still a blast. After heading up the hill, you have the option to go towards the obstacles on the side of the parking lot, or the oppostie side. The jumps of the opposite side are slightly more difficult to land, and should be left to more advanced riders. Overall, a great park, and very nearby, if you don't want to make the trip to Afton, Carver Lake Park , Lake Elmo, or Battle Creek .

Great park for your BMX friends young & old, with three pump tracks that very in size & skill level Plus some technical features to play on at the bottom/ entrance of the park. At the top of the small hill is where all the different jump lines start. They are signed: green, blue, diamond and Advanced/Red lines with 5-7 jumps in each line, very fun if you like to get your tires of the ground! Jul 23, 2017
