Description

From the bottom of Lasso, this trail starts easily enough before transitioning into a narrow, bench-cut trail. A steep, left-hand switchback climb with some roots and rocks takes you away from Lake Hydaway before turning downward.

The downhill section is very eroded with large (~10-12") rooty drops. An alternate line has a right-hand followed by a left-hand switchback that are challenging and steep. The trail continues up the valley as the Lake Trail taking you back to the SnowFlex parking lot.

This is one of the most used trails at Candlers and is full of roots and rocks, but not nearly as steep as most trails in the area.

Some steep parts but also some flat technical flow. Some fun little bridges and nice creek views. — 1h 00m
