Starting from the base along the west side of Cougar Peak you have two options to reach the summit: You can either ride up the singletrack, or the jeep road. Once you reach the summit, take your time and enjoy the absolutely amazing 360 degree view of the Oregon Outback just west of Lakeview, OR.

Once you've had enough of the view and you're ready for some excitement... point your bike back down the trail towards your starting point. The upper section of the trail crosses a few rock slides, but once you get past these it's fast flowy singletrack to the bottom. Enjoy!
