“Perimeter ride of the Frisco Peninsula along the shore of Dillon Reservoir.”
— D L
The trail is pretty easy to follow, as it essentially follows the lakeshore for its entire length. From the Dickey Day Use Area located 2 miles east of Frisco on Highway 9, ride a singletrack out of the east side of the parking lot towards the lake and parallel to the highway.
Ride north along the edge of the Dillon Reservoir riding counterclockwise. After 1 1/2 miles pass the Crown Point-Lakeshore Connector
on the left just before the northern tip of the peninsula. As the trail traverses west, then south pass another left turn with Olympian's Link
before riding into an asphalt parking lot.
Ride north through the parking lot and look for the singletrack again at the far north end of the parking lot to the right of a bathroom. It is unsigned. Take this a short distance to an asphalt campground loop road. Go right, and look for the singletrack on the right after a very short distance: also unmarked. Continue north onto the singletrack to another point.
Ride around the point, along the lakeshore back to the south and continue on this singletrack all the way through the disc-golf course; exiting the peninsula at a fence line into a residential neighborhood.
