This is a motorized trail. Riding season is roughly March through November.

Description

Start off the Tabeguache Trail - Dry Creek Section at the south end of the trail. There is an "Ewok Village" carsonite sign here with a singletrack gate. The trail descends to Piney Creek, then climbs on a steep and loose trail. Don't be scared away by this short hike--miles of quality riding await.

Fast, open downhills interspersed with short rock obstacles make this one of the more interesting trails around, that is if you can stop admiring the stark beauty of Dry Creek Canyon. The trail keeps relatively high on the upper bench of the canyon. There are a 2-3 short hike a bikes, but these are not too bad considering the great riding in between. Near the end, the trail slowly climbs through the eponymous "Ewok Village", badlands with dark boulders. Ride around the backside of a few hills and enjoy a fun descent to the intersection with Piney Creek Trail.
