Description

Copperhead Gap is one of the tougher, and not surprisingly, older trails at Chicopee Woods. If accessed from its northern junction with White Tail Trail, Copperhead Gap starts in similar fashion to many of the other trails in the park.

Towards the end of the trail, Copperhead Gap takes on a much rougher, more eroded character that is dissimilar to most of the rest of the riding at Chicopee. After around three and a half miles, Copperhead Gap terminates at a junction with Flying Squirrel. If you want to link into the majority of Flying Squirrel, turn right here.
