Copperhead Gap is one of the tougher, and not surprisingly, older trails at Chicopee Woods. If accessed from its northern junction with White Tail Trail
, Copperhead Gap starts in similar fashion to many of the other trails in the park.
Towards the end of the trail, Copperhead Gap takes on a much rougher, more eroded character that is dissimilar to most of the rest of the riding at Chicopee. After around three and a half miles, Copperhead Gap terminates at a junction with Flying Squirrel
. If you want to link into the majority of Flying Squirrel
, turn right here.
