Sweet technical downhill with a flat mid-section and moderate climb out.

Darin Webb

Overview

A really good workout ride that starts out with a technical downhill that will have you reaching for the brakes that eventually smooths out for some speed. The mid-section is fairly flat but works its way up a short technical climb before it becomes a more gradual ascent.

Description

This clockwise ride will start you out on Zig Zag which crisscrosses the old pipeline until it eventually ties into Shipwreck. Speed will decrease once you hit Shipwreck, you'll know when, so get ready to feather the brakes as you negotiate the steep drops and rocky switchbacks. From Shipwreck, hop on Merlin's Revenge which then ties into Can O' Corn, so the speed will pick up again all the way to Dead Elvis.

Enjoy the flow till you connect with a short section of Ball O' Nails before hitting Love Trail. Take this very short connector up to Buddha and head back out towards Airport Loop. Take the East leg to Center Road and turn right. Once you cross the small creek on Center Road take the first left and you'll be on 10Bridges which takes you back to the parking lot. Really good workout ride that takes about an hour.
