Overview

Description

The section on the Northwest side is fairly easy and a good place to take beginners. Also a good place to develop skills for turns with speed.

The northeast section of the park is much more difficult with short steep climbs and a few technical rock areas.

All singletrack trails are connected by paved paths.

The park also offers picnic, playground, pavilion areas. This is a Civilian Conservation Corps park built in the 1930's.

Members and Friends of the Central Arkansas Trail Alliance added new singletrack in the northwest corner of the park, finishing in February 2017. The 3 mile long Grill Trail may be accessed from the parking lot at pavilion #3 by the fishing pond. The entrance is on the uphill side of the paved street just up the hill from the parking lot.
