You can pick this trail up from several locations: the parking area, the schoolroom (trail info center) or several spots off of the doubletrack leading into the park. It can be ridden in both directions. Riding counter-clockwise, you might have to hike the bike for a very short steep, rocky section. When ridden clockwise this section is for advanced riders only. There are several streams/water crossings with bridges along this trail. There are also several scenic overlooks along the way. Harmtan Park connects to Nehantic State Forest at the top of the ridge. The trail is extremely well labeled. Enjoy!
