“A nice route connecting the old south end back to the middle of the system.
— Brian Hard
This trail makes a nice intermediate option for getting from the middle part of the trail system toward the old back end. It has a typical intermediate trail surface, nothing too technical. It is a very similar surface, as expected, to Torino
, and Caprock Trail
, and is most often ridden as part of either a loop with those. There can be some nice views in the winter. Riding it in either direction is enjoyable.
At the north end, it starts off of Crosscut
, then crosses Back End
, then courses along without much elevation change, until its southern terminus with Torino
. You can then use Torino
to connect back to the other end of Crosscut
or go on down to Caprock Trail
