Description

This trail starts at the top of Coal Bank pass at 10,600ft. Be prepared to share the trail with tourists, peak baggers, and horses. There is a reason why this trail is so popular - it easily accesses some of the best terrain and trails in Colorado. The trail has some technical sections that will make going up or down with out getting off your bike very difficult. The trail is short and you can get up to treeline in about 45 minutes. From there, the possibilities are endless and high alpine singletrack awaits you.
